Velvet Systems supplies Microtek ScanMaker i800 Graphic Scanners with a built in 8 x 12 inch transparency adapter. These multi-format film scanners offer high quality digital images at an optical resolution of 9600 x 4800 dpi. They have four EZ-Lock holders for holding slides and filmstrips. These graphic scanners use Digital Ice technology to detect and eliminate defects on film and photos. ColoRescue technology is used for restoring faded films and photos. They are capable of scanning legal size documents and photos that measure 8.5 x 14 inch with the advantage of 48-bit colour. They are compatible with both Windows and Macintosh platforms.
